People dream of things they don’t have and that is normal. Unfortunately, there are some people who seem to never get the satisfaction they desire. They don’t appreciate what they have. They constantly want materialistic things and when they get them, they will want something else. It is a vicious treadmill cycle that never ends. I myself was once stuck on this ideology, until I realized what an idiot I was.
I feel very sorry for anyone who works on a job they hate and spend money they don’t have on shit they don’t need. In reality, I think us Americans are among the most unfortunate, not the other way around. We live in a country that measures wealth by material possession and if you don’t see that, you’re bliss. True wealth is not measured in money or status or power. True wealth comes from splendid memories, moments, love, and other feelings we collected along the way.
